Fitness trackers for a fit life!
Humanity
is all about growth and development. Since the dawn of humankind, humans always
tried to elevate their lives. They never feel tired to cease. During the
prehistoric era, humans travelled in small groups from place to place. They
didn’t have vehicles or even shoes to wear. After discovering the iron and
metals, humans made wheels, which led them to invent simple vehicles like
wheelbarrows and carts. Then in the year 1886, a German inventor called
Karl Benz invented the first car. Since then, owning a car has become
everyone’s dream.
The
21st century is the biggest technological revolution. We travel by self-driving
cars; we live in smart homes; we own robot servants and assistants to clean the
house and remind us about our work. Life has become very much easier to spend.
But when our lives become easier and easier, as humans, we are getting lazier
and lazier. We spend most of our time in front of televisions and laptops. If
we want to go somewhere, we take an Uber. We don’t cook, and we deliver food from
out. We never wash the clothes or dishes by ourselves. We use washing machines
and dishwashers. We don’t get to eat healthy meals much because healthy meals
cost more time and money; instead, we eat instant food. We are literally living
an unhealthy life. We suffer from a number of illnesses and diseases like
obesity, diabetes, cholesterol, cancer, etc. So nowadays, we see many people
spare 30-45 minutes every day at gyms, walking paths, and playgrounds, trying
to be healthy and active by releasing extra sweat and fat.
Fitness Trackers ?
With
the COVID-19 outbreak, many people were trapped inside their houses and
officially started working from their homes. This has made everyone’s lives
less active. The people who spend at least a short time in gyms and playgrounds
under the guidance of their gym instructors or coaches have started to do
workouts alone at home. This time period was ideal for the app developers and
other tech-geeks to create new fitness tracking apps, online 30 days workout
lessons apps, and other various fitness apps and virtual
communities.
When
doing workouts and other exercises on our own at home, we really don’t know
what type of exercises we need and how much physical activity we need to get,
and without a guidance of a personal trainer, we have no clue how to get our
muscles trained, and that’s why we need fitness trackers.
Your Wearable Friend
Fitness
trackers are available in the markets as pedometers, wearable devices, and
mobile phone applications. Out of all these, wearable fitness trackers play an
outstanding role in our day to day’s life because there’s least they cannot do.
Normally the wearable fitness trackers can track the total steps that we have
taken per day, our activity, the speed of our motions, heart rates, blood pressure,
and our breathing. If the trackers have their own mobile apps, then they ask
for more information like your water intake, food consumption, your mood, etc.
By
combining all the tracked and received data, the trackers can provide your
report of daily performance, and also, it has the ability to analyze your next
moves and where to improve and whatnot. Since these fitness trackers can be the
extensions of smartphones or your virtual workspaces, you can meet other people
who use the same trackers and their performances. You also can communicate with
them and get to know each other very well.
Is it a must to take a fitness tracker?
Inviting
a fitness tracker to join your life is not a must. If you are spending a good
quality of life with taking enough sleep, getting healthy food, spending 30
minutes on cycling or swimming, you, of course, don’t need any fitness trackers
to analyze your next step. But if you are using fitness trackers to look
cool or to show off, it will do nothing good for you.
However,
if you are a person who loves data and statistics, then you can go for a
fitness tracker which works the best for you. Before buying a fitness tracker,
write a list of features you want to have and find a tracker that can work
according to your need.
Don’t get too much attached!
The
fitness trackers have the ability to guide you for a fit life. But don’t be too
emotional with the numbers and given instructions. If you feel like you are not
in a good mood to complete the assigned workouts or steps, switch off the
fitness tracker and go out for a walk or a Zumba class. If it’s annoying or if
you are feeling tensed or anxious when always wearing the fitness tracker, take
it off for a moment. Never punish yourself or put yourself down for not
completing the daily workouts or tasks. Give yourself some time to adjust, but
never ever give up on achieving the stage of “healthy life.”
